Cari Faye Antonovich in a portrait photographer living in Casper Wyoming. She was born in 1992 and homeschooled until she attended college at the age of 15. Always wanting to photograph people but afraid, her professor, Mr Keogh, encouraged her to start taking self portraits as means to build her confidence. After graduating, she opened her first portrait studio in downtown Casper, and hasn't stopped taking photographs since.
Antonovich’s work blends the deep blue of cyanotype with the raw spirit of the West, creating a visual flow where the subject becomes both the focus and a natural extension of the landscape. Her portraits, often inspired by surrealism and song lyrics that resonate with her, offer a unique and hauntingly beautiful style that is unmistakably hers. Formally trained in film but entirely self-taught in digital art, Antonovich crafts images that draw out emotions and connections, pulling viewers into the deep ties between humanity and the wild—a relationship that echoes the strength and resilience found in both. Her love for photographing people at all stages of life shines through in each portrait, offering a glimpse into the soul, framed by the vast, open horizons of Wyoming’s striking landscapes.
